Zine + post card
Home Squat Home zine shares stories unfolding in two directions, toward the past and the future. Personal insights, questions, and gut feelings printed on the pages will murmur and shout as you move your fingers on and above them to navigate the non-linear narrative.
Art Action Earwig dedicates the stories to dwellers in both Vancouver and Seoul, two cities that the artists call home. The stories drift beyond the borders of the cities, claiming the earth as our shared home.
As settlers we continue to seek creative ways to honor the lands and waters we live on – the unceded territories and waters of the Coast Salish Peoples of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
Written, illustrated, and designed by Minah Lee
Dramaturged by Wryly Andherson
Zine mentorship by Hue Nguyen
